Deadpan Male and funny Female?

Coming up blank.

And does it worth nearly as well as the reverse?

Closest example I can think of is Natalie and Jeremy in Sports Night, and possibly Casey and Dana from the same show.

Here's a clip as an example, from the episode 'Shoe Money Tonight'; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KCwLRCvVkY

There's some parts of the dialogue that require you to have seen the full episode to fully understand, but I think it doesn't really lose anything.

It doesn't entirely meet your criteria, as they're all very equal in their funny/deadpan deliveries in this show - but I think this particular clip shows them the way you're thinking.

EDT: Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsQBpG-3TQY&NR=1 - Jeremy's job interview from the pilot episode. :-)

Jack Donague (or however you spell it) and Liz Lemon? Giles and Buffy?

I think it often works better than the reverse, actually. I think some people like to see a serious woman being taken lightly (even humiliated or knocked down a peg, though that's not always the case) by a funny man. Using the examples of Liz and Buffy, the reverse is a bit more subversive - the man's serious demeanor is an indication of the authority that they hold over the ladies, and the ladies' irreverent attitude is a way of effectively leveling the playing field.

It's more common in real life for a deadpan (serious, hard-working, etc) woman to be not taken seriously by a dude than it is to see the reverse. I guess I prefer the reverse because of that. I also like it when funny ladies put the lie to the attitude that ladies aren't funny, and can only serve as a foil to funny dudes.

Josh and Donna in West Wing? Although I think that's more give and take on both sides.
